The 2026 Bartesian^® Halloween Cocktails: All Five Drinks and How to Serve Them

Bartesian^® has five Halloween drinks this year. Four of them come together in one box called the Halloween Collection: Witch's Heart, Caramel Appletini, Sour Spell and Vampire's Kiss. They are four vodka cocktails, all served in a martini glass.

The fifth is Candyman Margarita. It is a tequila drink, and it is sold in its own box.

The Halloween Collection

The Halloween Collection is one box of eight capsules: two each of Witch's Heart, Caramel Appletini, Sour Spell and Vampire's Kiss.

All four use vodka, and all four go in a martini glass. Bartesian^® calls only two of them martinis: Witch's Heart and Caramel Appletini.

Two of the four are new to the Halloween lineup. Last year's Halloween box, the Spooky Sips Collection, had three drinks: Caramel Appletini, Witch's Heart and Candyman Margarita. Sour Spell and Vampire's Kiss were not in it.

Witch's Heart

Bartesian^® describes it as berry and green apple flavors with edible shimmer. The shimmer makes the drink sparkle when light hits it.

My taste notes. I made this on my Bartesian^® Premier with Tito's vodka, on the regular strength setting.

It pours a witchy purple. The shimmer shows up as very fine sparkling flakes. When you stir it, it looks like you're stirring a witch's cauldron. I've never had a drink with shimmer before, and I like it.

It smells like lots of berries. It tastes like berries too, but softer than it smells. I can't tell blackberry from raspberry, but it's clearly berry.

It's on the sweet side, but it's not a sugar bomb. I'd call it balanced to slightly sweet. There's no alcohol bite or burn. The finish is good, with a slightly different taste at the very end.

Caramel Appletini

Bartesian^® describes it as tart green apple with a rich caramel flavor.

My taste notes. I made this on my Bartesian^® Premier with Tito's vodka, on the regular strength setting.

I was excited for this one. The regular Bartesian^® Appletini is one of my favorites.

It pours a hazy straw yellow, almost light brown. There's no shimmer in this one.

It smells like sweet caramel, with just a little apple.

My first sip: wow. It leans much more caramel than apple. I expected it to be really sweet, but it isn't. I'd call it balanced, leaning sweet. The sweetness builds a little as you go.

It's very smooth, from the first sip to the last. It goes down almost too easily. This could be a dangerous one.

My only wish is more apple. The caramel takes over. But I like caramel, which is probably why this one hit so well with me.

My rating: 9 out of 10. It would be a 10 with a little more apple. It's easily in my top 10 Bartesian^® pods, maybe my top 5.

Sour Spell

Bartesian^® describes it as a sweet drink with a burst of sour rainbow candy flavor. Like Witch's Heart, it has a shimmer that sparkles when light hits it.

Vampire's Kiss

Bartesian^® describes it as a deep red drink built around red licorice flavor, with strawberry and fruit punch flavors layered in.

How I serve them, and why I taste them plain

These drinks are meant to be served shaken and up. "Up" means chilled, with no ice in the glass. So I poured each one into my shaker with ice, shook it, and strained it into a martini glass.

When I taste a Bartesian^® cocktail for the first time, I like to taste it on its own, without the garnish. I want to see how the drink stands up by itself.

I added a garnish to each drink just for the photos. Then I took it off before I tasted.

That is also why I skipped the rims and drizzles. They add sugar and flavor to every sip.

Candyman Margarita

Candyman is the one Halloween drink that is not vodka. It uses tequila.

Bartesian^® calls it a seasonal margarita with sweet, sour, citrus, berry and candy flavors.

It is not in the Halloween Collection. You buy it in its own box, or you get it in the Premier Halloween bundle below.

Bartesian's garnish: serve it in a margarita glass with a lime wedge and a Sour Apple Sugar rim.
